Community Internship and Mentoring Programs

The mission of the program is to empower at-risk youth in our community to make positive life choices that enable them to maximize their personal potential. CIMP envisions a community in which every youth experiences nurturing one-to-one relationships and community support, which in turn allows each of them to develop into their full potential capable of making informed, responsible decisions as involved members of our community.

Community Wellness Workshops

facilitate meetings between organizations and members of the community to identify the assets that are available in the community and the best programs for the long-term social and economic wellbeing of the entire community.  Focus groups are conducted on a quarterly basis on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the first month in the quarter then implementation teams will meet on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays for next two months to design and launch projects.  The groups meet at public facilities like the library or at local businesses including restaurants and hotels.  Staff, volunteers, and community resources act as facilitators for this activity.

Mentoring Partnership Program

Did you ever ask yourself,
How can I make a difference?’
A difference in the life of a child?
A difference in the High School drop out rate?
A difference in the quality of life for the next generation?

‘Yes, You can make a difference’

Applied Principles for Service Incorporated has been asking these same questions.

Our answer was to develop the Community Mentoring Partnership Program.

We envision a community in which every youth experiences nurturing one-to-one relationships and community support.

We envision a community that allows our youth to develop into their full potential.

We envision our young people being capable of making informed responsible decisions as involved members of our community.

Our mission is to mentor students ages 8-18 to discover and believe that they can be academically successful, relationally comfortable and confident that if they are willing to be responsible and hard-working they can reach their dreams.

Applied Principles has developed an effective research-based program that uses a cross-generational approach linking students to adults 50+ to develop self-discipline, leadership skills, improve social intelligence, interpersonal skills, and academic performance.

Applied Principles is working with retired teachers and educators to mentor students.
