Did you ever ask yourself,How can I make a difference?'
A difference in the life of a child? A difference in the High School drop out rate? A difference in the quality of life for the next generation? 'Yes, You can make a difference' Applied Principles for Service Incorporated has been asking these same questions. Our answer was to develop the Community Mentoring Partnership Program.
We envision a community in which every youth experiences nurturing one-to-one relationships and community support. We envision a community that allows our youth to develop into their full potential. We envision our young people being capable of making informed responsible decisions as involved members of our community.
Our mission is to mentor students ages 8-18 to discover and believe that they can be academically sucessful, relationally comfortable and confident that if they are willing to be responsible and hard-working they can reach their dreams.
Applied Principles has developed an effective research-based program that uses a cross-generational approach linking students to adults 50+ to develop self-discipline, leadership skills, improve social intelligence, interpersonal skills, and academic performance.
Applied Principles is working with retired teachers and educators to mentor students. Come join our T.E.A.M. (Teachers,Educators as Mentors) |
